Vegan finds food truck on twitter, comes away happy.

TGIFF – Thank Goodness it’s Follow Friday!  I know I say it a lot, a lot, but Twitter is a fantastic advocacy tool.  There has never been a time in history when people were able to have instant access to what is going on in the world.  That’s huge.  Huge. You can help affect positive change, right now- one tweet at a time.  Who will you inspire today with your vegan compassion?

Self-proclaimed bio: I am the owner of a Vegan Food Truck in Orange County, CA called SEABIRDS!  we sell awesome vegan grub all around town.  I love what I do because I love spreading vegan joy and love cooking food that i know will be beneficial to those who eat it.  Seabirds has a great vegan and vegetarian following but It’s amazing to have so many non veg heads eating at our truck everyday too! There is hope!

You should know that: “I turned vegan overnight but didn’t plan it that way. after randomly reading about our present day food systems and how animals are raised & treated- i just go so pissed off i couldn’t eat meat or dairy the next day… puss & blood in milk? serious!? a few months in i started feeling so amazing that i never thought about going back to my old meat eating, unhealthy and stinky days. meat totally makes you stink, don’t you think?”

If I lived anywhere near this truck I’d run like hell head over to taste some of their Beer Battered Avocado Tacos (fried in Rice Bran Oil – a healthier alternative to the traditional junk offered elsewhere.  Studies have shown rice bran oil can help lower cholesterol, fight diseases, enhance the immune system, fight free radicals and more.).  But the whole menu looks astounding so check it out.
