Keeping Up With the Vegans: Episode Two

We can't promote every vegan thing, but we try. Here is our second roundup of vegan tidbits that are sent our way.

What's in this post

Keeping Up With The Vegans

We receive a lot of requests to promote vegan things: kickstarters, gofundme’s, indie campaigns, book releases, vegan convenience food, and anything else you can think of. As much as we’d like to promote every single vegan thing we can, it simply is not practical or fair as we’d never really be able to promote them all. Still, we want to help- after all, we advocate for a more vegan world every day and (most) of the folks who contact us do as well. We wholeheartedly support those on a vegan mission. It’s been awhile since our last roundup of vegan tidbits, but here we go – the latest info shared with YDV, presented to you.

This comes after recent announcements of The Sunflower Center closing and Lydia’s Organics discontinuing its packaged foods line. All of Lydia’s Organics’ products (including crackers, chips, bars, cereals, bread, seasonings and “Kale Krunchies”) are 100% vegan, organic, raw, and GMO & gluten-free.

Viva!’s White Lies Campaign is now available via web with materials covering the issues surrounding dairy.

During the food festival Krachtvoer at De Studio in Antwerp on October 18 & 19, Yves Drieghe of DIFT will curate an expo, The Next Big Five, all about tales of everyday animals we never see but who live among us, in numbers we even can’t imagine. Drieghe selected work by designers, brands and cooks like Kenzo, Foodstorms, Honest by and Jo-Anne McArthur.
