Your Daily Vegan

Here we are, one day away from my most favorite holiday of the year and I’m feeling spooky.  We’ve gotten some great entries for our Spooky Halloween Companion Animal Costume Contest (AKA: SHCACC) over the past week, but I’m a sucker for a cute animal so we’re extending the contest until Sunday at midnight!

Send in a pic of your non-human friend all decked out in their scary (or not so scary) garb, and that’s it.  Your picture will be entered in a contest for Best Costume of All Time and Second Best Costume of All Time.  The second best costume of all time will receive a spook-tacular gift set of three devilishly good Lip Sauces from Kenny CoOp.  The best costume of all time will receive the same spook-tacular gift set of three devilishly good Lip Sauces,  but there’s also additional frightful goodies in store for first place.

And there are some serious cuties in this contest already, so the competition is going to be tough.  But remember, there are two chances to win.  And if you are blessed with multiple companion animals like I am (9 to be specific but who’s counting?), you can enter one time per animal.  The new deadline for entry is Sunday, November 1, 2009 at midnight.  Enter if you dare, well, right after you read the fine print.

All submissions to YDV are subject to the terms and conditions as noted in our Legal Vegan section.  Please take the time to read to those requirements because we are going to assume you read them and agree to them if you submit a photo.  All submissions to this contest should be of non-human animals in Halloween costumes.  Under no circumstances should an animal be hurt or put under strain to obtain a photo.  Remember that the prize is awesome yes, but not at the expense of another.  Please send all submissions to veganadmin (at) yourdailyvegan (dot) com.  Please, no file size larger than 300 X 225 or similar.  This contest is limited to US and Canada readers only.  I apologize to our international friends, we aren’t able to ship overseas.
