Where’s the problem, really?
As expected the story is making all kinds of headlines. People seem to be outraged by this and, well quite frankly, I'm confused.

As expected the story is making all kinds of headlines. People seem to be outraged by this and, well quite frankly, I'm confused.
And if you're not "indignant" about the lack of commitment to the vegan ideology, then you are ignoring a problem that will only get worse and that will reduce our credibility as a serious movement trying to affect change.
Sometimes, when I talk to people about veganism, folks question the statement I'm making (by being vegan) because there aren't very many of us out there. They question if such a small population of animal advocates can really make a difference in the lives of farmed animals.
When you make the connection, and understand the suffering that occurs, and that you have the power to reject this suffering, you are forever changed.
What I am questioning is, why should we settle for a watered-down version of what being vegan means? Is it difficult to be vegan? Sometimes, but it wouldn't be if there were more vegans.
