I want to start by saying that I’m not a huge fan of chocolate.  I know, I know.  I’m just not.  Oh, don’t get me wrong.  I would never dream of turning down a chocolate chip cookie or chocolate cake but I don’t particularly care for plain chocolate.  Just isn’t my thing.

BUT, I do know someone that adores chocolate.  Lives for it really.  Her adoration of chocolate led me to Choco-a-Go-Go.  I “met” Choco-a-Go-Go on MySpace.  Her profile pictures beckon you with the teasing display of chocolately goodness.  And they are vegan!  So of course I had to order some.  I ordered two boxes as a gift.  I emailed Jhenn, the chocolatier, to request that the chocolates be shipped in a plain box (so that the surprise wouldn’t be spoiled) she said sure.  She even put a card in the box to say “enjoy the gift”.  How sweet!

Choco-a-G0-Go

these were delightful.  The above photo is the actual picture of the chocolates that arrived at my house.  Aren’t they pretty?  I love the detail work.  But, oh, the taste.  These were so good.  Totally worth the extra 10lbs I gained from “helping” to sample these.  Uh, I meant that I had to taste the chocolates (one of every kind) as “research”.  Sure, you know, for this review.  I had to.  You would have done the same thing.  Trust me!

Both boxes were different and contained all kinds of gooey goodness.  My “assistant” in this “research” described the cherry truffles in the pictures above as “so good they will make you dance”.  I think that’s a fine compliment indeed.
