There are VegFests poppin’ up all over the place and we love it.  The Northwest VegFest is heading to Portland on September 19, 2009.  And wow, this one is jam packed.  Portland folks, you’re so lucky!

There’s going to be speakers like Kathy Freston (author of Wellness Cleanse: The 21 Day Essential Guide to Healing Your Body, Mind, and Spirit), Rip Esselstyn (author The Engine 2 Diet), John A. McDougall, MD (Physician and nutrition expert), and Vesanto Melina (co-author of Raw Food Revolution Diet). There will also be cooking demonstrations, classes, “Ask the Experts” events throughout the day, and live music!  And if all of that isn’t enough, there will also be displays from tons (the list is honestly staggering) of great veg companies.  Sweet!
