Woo hoo! Another childhood favorite sans gelatine and sans sugar.

Or, Oursons Aux Fruits Biologique, Bonbons Jujubes, as they’re otherwise known. Woo hoo! Another childhood favorite sans gelatine and sans sugar. Let me just tell you what they make these delightful little bears out of:

Corn malt syrup, dehydrated cane juice, juice concentrates, spinach powder, apple pectin, citric acid, natural fruit flavors, carnauba wax, expeller pressed sunflower oil

Unlike the originals, these bears are softer, fruitier, and sweeter.

Now, I have a lot of psychological memories attached to gummi bears.  My oma kept me alive on German gummi bears.  It’s more than just taste for me.  So, I kinda enjoy the firmer, less sweet bear.

But, these vegan gummis are well worth it- I stick them in the freezer to make them more firm.  This makes them a tiny, tingly, taste sensation for my tongue.

Goatz Rating 4

I give these gummi bears 4 Goatz for bein’ tasty and just “a little” too sweet.
