Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis has gone vegan, and is talkin’ tofu. “I’m not exactly the Sam Elliott-type, ropin’ steer and makin’ sure things are pink and rare, but this sounds like a horrific existence. Then again, it’s probably the way to go considering Davis’ previous lifestyle habits and overall conditioning.”

Want to adopt a vegan lifestyle? “Vegans, in addition to being vegetarian, do not use other animal products and by-products such as eggs, dairy products, honey, leather, fur, silk, wool, cosmetics, and soaps derived from animal products.”

Being vegan- the Navy is wrong on this one. “The California Coastal Commission, meeting in San Diego, after hours of public comment voted unanimously to reject the Navy’s permit to conduct harmful testing along the California Coast.  This came after decades of the Navy dismissing and ignoring any mitigation requirements made by the Commission regarding sonar and explosion practices and the impact upon marine mammals.  What has just happened in California, though, is going to have to be repeated over and over again around the world to truly protect marine mammals because this is part of a much bigger problem.”

‘Big Bang’ star’s religious balancing act in Hollywood. The creative minds behind Big Bang Theory are unable, for some reason, to provide vegan Mayim Bialik with an alternative to lunch meat, which is used as a prop. “’I do my own dissection stunts, yes! The brains are typically made of our prop master’s combination of melted down and refrozen deli meats and cheeses. As a vegan, I’d rather dissect a human brain than what he concocts.’”
