Mark Your Calendars! Farm Sanctuary’s Celebration for the Turkeys & Country Hoe Down Dates Announced

By Crystal Tremblay, Guest Contributor

Summer may have just started, but some of us are already dreaming of the crisp and colorful season of fall. Farm Sanctuary is dreaming of fall for different reasons: Celebration for the Turkeys. Farm Sanctuary has just released the dates for this event spanning from November 2nd through the 16th at their locations in Orland and Acton, CA as well as Watkins Glen, NY. Although you will need to check back on their events page for details (as only the dates have been released), you can always get your Farm Sanctuary fix by going to their NY Hoe Down.

On August 3rd and 4th, you can join Farm Sanctuary at their Watkins Glen location for their annual Country Hoe Down. According to their website, it is “an exciting weekend filled with expert presentations, great vegan food, quality time with our farm animal residents, activist workshops, cooking demonstration, barn dancing, camping, and more!” Ticket prices are $175 for adults and $100 for children, and include your vegan meals throughout the weekend, access to all activities, presentations, and workshops, and admission into their camping area on sanctuary grounds.

Fun, educational, and the chance to play with cute animals…SCORE!
