About Guest Contributor, LJ Steinig

LJ Steinig has been called the Vegan Ambassador of South Beach, and she makes it her mission to live up to that title. Vegan since February 2009, her passions include building vegan community, educating the public on nutrition, animal rights, and sustainability, and raising money for farm animal sanctuaries across the country. When she's not busy wearing her “Vegan Ambassador” sash and tiara, she is also a yogini, a writer, a teacher, a feminist, and an all around lover of life.
