Rearranging your house so that the dachshund has a pillow/dog bed/blanket to lay on in a sun spot – regardless if it is in the middle of the floor where you can trip over her or not. Crazy is when you spend five minutes trying to get said dachshund to open her eyes for a picture by crawling all over the floor and baby talking. Smart is when the dachshund ignores you until you reach for a treat (even though she just had breakfast) so that she’ll pose for a picture, only to find out that the dachshund cunningly eats the treat without opening her eyes. Dejected is when you realize that she isn’t going to pose. Rejected is when you realize that she doesn’t care about you at all while there is sun around.
