James Herrera is one cool cat. He is the founder and CEO of Performance Driven, an elite coaching program for athletes and executives based in Colorado Springs. He has also served as the Director of Coaching/Premier Coach for Carmichael Training Systems as well as a coach/consultant for the US BMX program and the Center for Creative Leadership. Whew!
Herrera also competes in road and mountain cycling and trial running. He holds a black belt in several martial arts and loves to snowboard.
But the best part? He’s an athlete and he’s also a vegan. I love it! See? Athletes can be vegan. And Herrera says, “I get a lot of shit from my friends for my vegan diet. But what can I say? … Since I started eating this way, I’ve never felt better, stronger, or had more energy throughout the day.” Now that’s bad ass.
