Sweetly Spiced Sweet Potato Cake
This sweetly spiced cake from VegNews gets it’s moistness from the sweet potatoes added to the batter. With sweet spicy notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger- it’s the perfect cake for a simple glaze, but also sturdy enough for piles of buttercream frosting, if that’s more your thing. As for myself, I topped this bad boy with Domestic Vegan’s Maple Glaze. This glaze tastes straight-up like the glaze of maple cream stick doughnuts from omnivore days gone by. (yes, I left puddles of it on my cake stand, I couldn’t possibly let a single drop go to waste!) Why not make a little deliciousness for yourself today?
