Addressing the issue of animal enslavement in 41249.3- err, 1987.

What's in this post

The USS Enterprise is en route to the neutral world of Parliament with delegates from two warring planets, the Selay and the Antican, when Riker is called to discuss a disagreement about the food requirements of the Antican delegates:

Riker:  “We no longer enslave animals for food purposes.”

Antican: “But we have seen humans eat meat.”

Riker: “You’ve seen something as fresh and tasty as meat but inorganically materialized out of patterns used by our transporters”

Antican:  “Sickening. Barbaric.”
