Cleveland VegFest is tomorrow! We hope you’re excited as we are to have the chance to see all of the speakers we’ve been featuring here at YDV over the past few weeks. Today we’ll look at the last two speakers in the Main Classroom Room.

Rashid Mitcham: Vegan Cooking Demonstration: Homemade Vegan Burger

Rashid Mitcham presents the following at 5:30-6:30pm.

Rashid MitchamRashid will be preparing a vegan burger that’s fun & easy to make, from the mixing bowl to the bun!

At Mo Bite Products, their  mission is to provide a healthy alternative to foods that cause disease in the human family by presenting foods that give life in a fun and delicious way. Rashid got his start in vegan foods 18 years ago and after 6 years of being vegan, he missed cheese and carbs too much and decided to become an ovo-lacto vegetarian, which he describes as a bad move. He reached a weight of 420lbs! In the last two to three years, he has renewed his commitment to vegan foods and has lost nearly 150lbs. Making the change was a great healing in his life that he wants to share with you.

Rashid received his training at Soul Food Vegetarian Restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio and has worked for multiple food service companies. Mo Bite Products supplies restaurants, caterers and individuals seeking healthy organic vegan alternatives for their nutritional needs. They teach classes to those who want a permanent lifestyle change.
