Are you ready for the big day?  The very first inaugural Cleveland VegFest is this Saturday, June 1, 2013!  Are you going?  I’m going.  In fact, the whole YDV team is going.  We’ve already told you how YDV is the Official Media Team for the event,  10 Reasons Why You Should Go to Cleveland VegFest (Plus Information You’ll Need to Plan Your Trip), and talked about after-party headliner Jamie Kilstein to pique your interest in going.  Has it worked?  Will you be attending?

Featuring many top national speakers and authors in their fields on issues of health, environmental sustainability, social justice, and animal rights, the Cleveland VegFest will be an opportunity to explore how choosing a whole, plant-based, vegan meal directly impacts conditions in each of these critical areas.

Learn what veganism is, why it matters, and what makes it work.  Plus, what kind of impact does a vegan lifestyle have, what is the evidence?  How do you stay healthy without meat and dairy and why haven’t you been told this by your doctor?  How much does it cost to eat vegan?  What does it taste like?  AND MORE!

Experience the flavorful, wholesome, and indulgent flavors which encompass vegan cuisine, as presented by some of the best culinary experts in our area… Cleveland’s favorite chefs, restaurants, and confectioneries will be featuring their best-selling vegan menu items.

Plus, national vendors will be showcasing a wide range of vegan products and resources.

Plan Your Trip:

When: Saturday, June 1^st, 2013.  Doors will be open from 9:30am to 7:30pm.

Where: Cleveland State University Student Center, Euclid Avenue between East 21st and 22nd streets, Cleveland, Ohio

Parking: Street parking is free that day and lot parking is between $2 – $10 depending on how long you stay.  This venue is on the RTA health line which runs from Tower City every 10 minutes.
