Hay: Vegan Badass, Age 14

So, writing is not my strongest subject.  As a matter of fact, two months ago my language arts teacher told me my grade was a 51.  My only hope at bringing that grade up so I could walk in 8^th grade graduation was to read a poem in the poetry slam-

Killing? Oh no…..
“but I just eat meat”
LIES…That’s Murder
Evolve America!

This idea of this blog makes me nervous and excited.  Mostly nervous.  Sometimes mostly excited.  No, mostly nervous.

I want to think the more I do it, the better it will get.  I hope you like it.  I hope to meet fellow teens so we can support each other.  I hope to not feel so alone while helping others not feel so alone.  Could this be a great place to vent and share?

So far it helps me get thru the day knowing I can write about it all later when I get home- including outing my tormentors (look for their first names thru most of my blogs).  When they say crappy things, I bet they are wondering what I am smirking about.  Now I’m just the smirking girl with the mini notebook.  It helps to not just stand there with a punched in the stomach feeling. Try this at home!

P.S.  Language Arts final grade –  82….     Maybe I CAN really do this!
