America’s mainstream media drops yet another ball

As reported by ABC Australia & BBC in 2007 by U.S. scientists, then confirmed last week on Al Jazeera, but not reported in American mainstream media, the summer Arctic ice will be gone by 2013, according to a team of Canadian scientists. For those not strong in arithmetic, that’s in 4 years. We cannot stop this sort of climate change in the next 25 years, let alone stop it in four.
Animals will die, species will become extinct, and how we come to view our civilization will be irrevocably changed. For decades no one listened to the scientific community. Because of “economic factors” and “tradition,” our ancestors have given us a disaster. All we have left is mitigation. The most positive impact you can have on slowing climate change, and saving the animals and our world, is by reducing CO2 emissions through being vegan.
