  • Don’t have anything planned for tonight?  The San Francisco Vegetarian Society and radio host, Bob Linden of “Go Vegan Radio,” are hosting a World Vegan Day dinner on Monday, November 2nd.  Sounds yummy to me.
  • This is really huge.  The royal family will be hosting the International Conference at Windsor Castle.  This year they will host nine separate faiths, all with different dietary requirements.  The solution?  An all vegan banquet!  The first ever vegan banquet in Windsor Castle’s history will be held on Tuesday, November 4th.  Now that’s the way to do it!
  • The title, “Think Diabetes this month,” is a bit odd.  This letter to the editor was penned by Caroline Trapp, M.S.N., A.P.R.N., B.C.-ADM, C.D.E., (try writing that out a hundred times a day!) who is the Director of Diabetes Education and Care, at the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.  I would say that she knows what she’s talking about.  Some good information to have for those ridiculous conversations that start with “I’ll never stop eating meat, after all, humans are at the top of the food chain.”
