- North Carolina State University wants you to “Celebrate Vegan Awareness Month.” From the article, “Dining has correctly identified a need in the campus dining community, and for that it should be applauded. But now it needs to take the next step and begin presenting a wider array of vegan dishes in addition to the standard side items.” Hell yeah!
- Jim Hamilton from the Bolivar Herald-Free Press says, “Even the slightest exception to industry standards for humane treatment and slaughter of farm animals is unacceptable.” But only because, “Else, we provide more fuel for the fires stoked by legions of affluent vegan opponents to animal agriculture.” Sigh.
- Vegan MetroWest Network offers up tips, support and options for dining out. Congratulations on the one year anniversary of the group! Too bad I’m not closer, it sounds awesome!
- Long Island gets it’s own vegan chocolate company! Sounds delicious, we can never have too many choices when it comes to dairy-free chocolate!
