Reviews

“Creative, fun, impassioned and entertaining…. I was blown away. The intention is pure” – Russell Simmons

“Galvanizing… politically-charged… effective.” – SF Weekly

“The indy scene is currently stuck in some kind of navel-gazing white ironic-romance cul-de-sac, and is fast wearing out its welcome as the required breath of fresh air between the gasps of putrid Hollywood factory smoke… So it’s wonderful when a little film like Bold Native lands in my lap, and pries apart the iron grills of formula fiction to deliver a story you’d never expect to find outside of documentary… The film is super slick – cinematography and editing easily matches some of the best Hollywood fare out there. A great soundtrack, a fast-paced road trip tempo, believable characters and extraordinary situations make for a very enjoyable and at times provocative cinema experience.” – Art Threat

Bold Native is a feature film on the subject of animal liberation but at its heart, much like Easy Rider, it’s a road film about the fight for freedom in a corrupt America.” – Sparrow Media

“I was moved by the eloquence of the story, the relatability of the characters, and the diversity of the perspectives addressed in the film.” – The Discerning Brute

“Entertaining, thoughtful, and provocative in all the right ways.” – Lantern Press

“This “movie film” about animal rights is the most thorough, thought-provoking animal film I have ever seen and I’ve seen them all in my years of being an animal rights person since 1982. Bold Native covers all the levels of passion from animal people and it does an excellent job! I loved the film from beginning to end. The acting is well done, and the cinematography is terrific. You’ll laugh, cry, get angry, raise your fists…show all kinds of emotion as you watch Bold Native. Even though it’s a “movie” it tells the facts. This film needs to be redistributed to theaters again because the message is still fresh today and needs to be told over again to the general public. Loves it!” – Lorraine J., Amazon
