What's in this post

  • Europe’s first vegan grocery store opens in Dortmund, a city more known for mining than great vegan food.  And it’s attracting more than just vegans, “No, I’m not vegan,” said one Vegelicious shopper. “I have never tried real vegan food. I think it’s good so I can now try.”
  • Earwax Cafe, a vegan eatery in Chicago, closed it’s doors several weeks ago due to financial strain.  But don’t be sad, Earwax Cafe is set to Reopen! “Due to popular demand Earwax will re-open after a menu overhaul and cleaning tomorrow,” it wrote on Thursday afternoon. “You guys have convinced us to re-open, despite some difficulties, and to stick with the tried and true concept of the cafe.”
  • Beth Cash talks about Improving her Vegan Karma saying, “We had a satisfying meal, and I did not feel deprived one bit. In fact, my stomach and taste buds were happy with the abundance of different flavors and textures. I did not miss meat or dairy at all.”
