“Vegan Bodybuilding and Fitness is a fantastic piece of work. It is the product of thorough research and Cheeke’s genuine experience of living as a vegan bodybuilder. He has demonstrated that humans can build significant amounts of muscle and strength on a plant-based diet. As a non-vegan (who sometimes eats vegan meals and uses vegan supplements), I learnt a tremendous amount from this highly informative book and it has motivated me to bring more vegan choices into my own eating and training. The sport of bodybuilding needs more books like this.” – Alan Riseborough. “Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness.” Keep Fit Kingdom. 3 July 2017
“Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness is a classic for vegan nutrition and fitness – also clear evidence that one can be very healthy and fit on a plant-based diet. Robert is inspirational and a shining light on the arena of healthy living – clearing the confusion that many people wrongly think that you have to eat animal protein for strength training or any other type of fitness. Highly recommend to read and keep in your library. I have had to buy another copy because I keep lending it out – spreading the word about what is needed for our human body – not beef, poultry, fish, dairy or eggs.” – Peggy, Amazon
“Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness is a great book to help you to understand what to do if you want to build muscle on a plant-based diet. Cheeke is truly a pioneer in the field of vegan bodybuilding which in his words, “has long been perceived as an oxymoron.” The book is full of info about how to build muscle on a plant-based diet. Lots of examples of diets for various workout situations. Helpful info on supplements as well including Cheeke’s favorites Biggest advantage is Cheeke’s highly motivational writing and down to earth style. If you’re on the fence about going vegan (especially if you are a bodybuilder), this book along with Cheeke’s website will motivate you to start training now. Once you do you’ll be so healthy you’ll wonder why you waited!” – Kitty, Amazon
